Services

As a Certified Financial Planner ™ Practitioner I adhere to a strict code of conduct.  Also, as a CFP®, my role is well defined by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards.  As a full service financial planner I work in the following manner:

  1. First appointment, we establish and define the client-planner relationship:
    • Are you in need of full service financial planning?
    • Or do you want just one or two of the services I provide?
  2. Second appointment,  the client brings me information on themselves and their goals.
  3. Third appointment, I present the financial planning recommendations.
  4. Over the course of our relationship we will speak at minimum quarterly and sit down for a face to face meeting annually.
  5. I work in many different areas of finance.  The following is a list of areas in which I can help:
    • Retirement planning
    • Retirement living
    • Investments
    • Insurance
      • Life, Health, Auto, Home, Liability, Business, etc.
    •  Educational Funding
    • Mathematical projections for savings goals
    • Estate Planning
    • Banking
    • Taxes
    • Home purchase
    • Loans
    • Budgeting
    • Coordinating business and personal finances
    • And more…

I am compensated for my services as a fee based financial planner.  My normal fee structure is a percentage of assets managed.  You can view my fee structure on the Fees page.  I sometimes make commissions on products such as insurance and annuities.  At times I am also compensated hourly for financial planning work done.  I do not charge commissions by selling investments.
